Q:

Roanoke, Virginia Air Gun Show

I probably should have started posting about this a few weeks ago, but there is an air gun show at the Moose Lodge just outside of Roanoke, VA this Friday and Saturday. I will be hanging out there most of the day Friday and hopefully some on Saturday. If you show up, look for a dude with a camo Harley hat with flames on the bill. And if you bring along an 18 inch .177 barrel or an 18 inch .22 barrel, we might work something out.

PM me and I will attempt to send you a flyer if you are interested in attending.

It was a pretty decent show. There were some screaming deals to be had. The only problem was my wallet was not thick enough and I missed out on a FWB 601 with walnut stock for $550! 😯 I did pick up on a pretty nice 1906 BSA though. 😀

Cool Brother, use to party in Colo back in the 70’s, yeah, I would love to go to an airgun show and get a DAQ.

Where you from in Iowa? I used to live in Marshalltown.

I live in a small town called Ogden. It’s about 60 miles west of Marshalltown on Hwy 30

I sure would love to go but it’s a looong way from Iowa 🙁

thanks Edge for the info.

It will mostly be owners and collectors. There will likely be some small vendors there. It varies from year to year. Last year Shoebox Compressors was there. John McCaslin of AF was there. For the last two years there has been an Air Force vendor there. A couple of years ago Pyramyd Air was there. I have seen Dennis Quakenbush there every year I have gone.

This is not the Shot Show. If you are expecting to see all the manufacturers with all of there latest and greatest, you will be disappointed. If you want to explore the history of airgunning, this is the place to be. It is also a good place to find parts or maybe get your sproinger fixed or maybe find that bb gun you had as a kid. I picked up my Talon SS there last year. I got a screaming deal on a brand new 46M from PA a couple of years ago.

I’m hoping to sell or trade a couple of airguns and find a couple of barrels and some parts and accessories for my TSS.

never been to one of this before. Are there vendors selling new guns and accessories or is it mostly sale by owners? This is going to be a long drive for me so just wanted to see if it worth the trip.

There are usually over one hundred tables of airguns to drool over.

Should be a good show
