hatsan pcps
I was wondering if these rifles are any good? I was looking at the new mrod but then I seen the b65se and it looks more impressive to me. I am looking to get the .25 caliber. Hatsan has a larger air tank, 9 round mag instead of 8 in .25 puts out more power.. just looks cooler too!
Any thoughts? I am looking for my first .25 rifle. I would love to have a daystate air ranger of the edgun but they are too expensive at the moment.
Going to be used as a hunter and long range shooter only.

I don’t see how they get a light trigger pull on any springer with the huge spring pushing against it. I’ll check trigger pull today. The most irritating thing about them to me is the automatic safety. Regards, Tom
How is the trigger on their PCPs? I have heard not so good things about them on their sproingers.
Sure pm me, do they really get 60 shots in .25 or is that just marketing? I want a .25 for my new coyote problem in my back yard too close for me.. not enough powerful guns for the job. I have my beast shooting 900+ with 14.3 grain pellets but I want the .25 to put em down easily.
Both are hole in hole accurate at 15 yards, I haven’t shot for accuracy any further. I have heard that accuracy can be increased further by using the Hatsan air stripper with a .25″ gap. I got three end appliances from Turkey for $45 each that work very well. 1/2-20 threads. Funny thing is that they charge more for the air stripper than what you can buy them for here. How accurate are they?
I have both, the side lever on the long is much easier to cock. You can match the bt65 speed by drilling out the valve stem seat, very easy to do. The long weighs 1.1 lbs less than the bt65. Costs less also. Regards, Tom
The long has a 230cc tank and the 65sb had a 255cc tank. Both have the dame barrel length. Got the specs from pa.
Look at the AT44 .25 Long. Longer barrel, bigger air tube, not heavy like the BT65. Easy to add more power. Regards, Tom

Just went out to the shop and checked pull on several Hatsan pcps. I think these are adjustable, but haven’t had any desire to do so.
