.30 cal condor
I have searched but i haven’t found much on it…. Has anyone used a .30 cal FX ST barrell in a condor? is it possible? looks to be a good option for those that want bigger but dont wanna cast just yet… even though i feel it is inevitable..

This is interesting if i’m reading it right.
not sure how the ST barrel performs with HIGHER SPEEDS.
With JSB pellets, the ST barrels dont seem to like fps much past 900 FPS! Not sure how they will take to BULLETS either. In 2 different guns, the 830-890 fps seems IDEAL with ST barrels in 30 cal.

Yes it is a 30 that a fellow in Canada commissioned for the JSB pellets. Shooting it in my homebuilt Vulture with some success. A buddy has his in a Condor and it shoots the pellets really well.
Might be the shooter as my son had no issues with mine.
I am making a mold for a 90 grain bullet so hope to get good results form that as well.

Voltar.. is your barrel a .30 cal? what are u running for a valve? and what pellets do u shoot?

The pellet barrel will be 0.294 bore, 0.300 groove
The .30 you see is probably .308 and the pellets don’t work in it. The pellet barrel is .303 I think.
I see Lothar Walther has .30 cal. non choked 28″ barrels listed on their website.I wonder what type of valve it would take to push the .30 in a Condor with decent power?
Seems like a great barrel and with the power of a condor it may be a great combo… Now if I can just find me a newer version of the old condor for a donor….
I did not see the .30 cal blanks on their site i will have to go take another look. What fps are to be expected when you drop that barrel in a condor? Does it require any other mods to work good?
Of course you can. AOA sells the blanks. 😉

That’s where I was going with this thread… I’m just keeping an eye out for a used condor for a donor.. Maybe a talon.
