Edgun R3 Regulator adjuster / tester off the tube
If you seen my regulator tested / adjuster fixture/tool for the Cricket now I have one for the R3. will make a Video soon!
1. take out a lot of guest work in setting the preferred pressure setting on the regulator. like when setting the reg on a .25 shooting around 70fpe, after adding an extra dick I set the reg just before the limit of the valve seat from sealing.
2. test the valve seat for proper sealing, can leave pressure over night and test for leakage on the 3 main o-ring/valve seat.
3. can test refresh rate of the regulator, so you know the seconds between shots to get the most consistence shot string.
4. save wear and tear in disassembly & reassembly
5. save a lot of air

It all depend on the members needs:
1. If his sending the whole BP– some shooters don’t want to deal in taking the task in removing the reg.
2. or just send the air tube, then I will depressurizes, remove the reg, set pressure at the old setting or different Bar and test refresh rate, test for leak, reseal the whole air tube, reg cylinder/end cap and gauge, clean the whole air tube ID. and test the whole air tube for leak for 48hrs.
3. or just the reg section only, not the reg air chamber and valve steam section. see photo–the reg section on the right.
key note in reg pressure: is to set it at the lowest setting to reach your desired speed 890fps, when the HST has no affect in raising the speed, this way your are not regulating the regulated air by using the HST. this is the most consistent way in having a narrow ES.

Very nice. Do you think the R3 will work for the 30 cal R3? What do you charge for a pair?

The way it sounded by ED, its the same reg with a 160B setting, so yes I can adjust the .30 cal.
