I am just interested in adquiring one of those small bottles … it could be interesting tunning them 😉
I don’t think the realignment will be much in the way of trouble. When I set sights on my K31’s I just attach the rear sight and then center the front aperture in the rear aperture. Shooting will then tell the tale. But with the Edge, no one has to go to the range. 😀

I bet they are using the micro valve which can get hundreds of shots on a normal tank at that speed. With the little tank they are using I bet the POI is pretty good throughout a good number of shots
Do all the 100 shots go down in velocity? Or is there a nice curve? Or is it regged to keep the all the shots in the 550-575fps spread?
This gun is approved ‘AS IS’ for three position shooting. So there is no real reason for Airforce to accomodate modding or barrel swapping etc.
It is a setup rifle for competition.
Nice design on Airforce’s part. Good to see them making some efforts to expand the fan base.

Just thought of something that could be a problem – the front sight is on a block at the end of the shroud. I noticed it previously, but I still can’t quite figure how it’ll work. AF must think the rig will remain untouched from the factory. Having to re-align the front sight every time you swap barrels (or polish/clean/mod) would be a hassle at the least, a loss in accuracy at the worst. Also, it would potentially eliminate the swapping in of a longer barrel – at least one longer than the shroud allows. A modification would have to be made to a standard shroud to put on the mounting block. A way to ensure proper alignment would have been to make a shroud with rails on the top and bottom, then make clamps to bridge it to the frame and ensure it is held in place, in addition to the (tiny) set screw on the bottom. Or they could have made it with an extra long frame. I sure would like to find out how they stick the block onto the shroud.
i bet you can just dump your talon or condor parts in there and if you use the regular condor or SS bottle it will be full power, might even be able to swap out the valve if you feel like using the small airtube !
frame looks better, more rigid…but with a regular tank on might be sittng a tad low….with trirail it should be ok though
Yep, I’m interested too. The only other rifle out there that fills the bill for this price point is the Air Arms S200 in target configuration. I’ve held off for one because I think it’s too small.
One question. Will this rifle be able to be adjusted for more power if needed?
Okay, one more. Will it be available in other colors?

Buttplate, definitely looks off the shelf from the Talon…prolly leave it cheap and let the aftermarket come up with something better/custom to the application…enter the WOKBUTT 😉
barrel, I’ll guess 18″ with a 6″? shroud…
FT gun? maybe with some work…you’ll prolly want 12fpe+ and it’s going to be making like 4-5fpe out of the box…I’m guessing it is going to be an awsome platform though.
Pink? I’ll be wrapping that sucker in Camo tape LOL…or stripping it and re-anodyzing it when I get my setup going…could send it to have it “Real Tree” camo’d or something too.

Yeah but it is under $500 so I can’t expect too much… Plus, if they made it right you wouldn’t be able to make your awesome butt pads. Actually you would probably be building the whole rifle!!! 😆
If I wanted amazing I would shell out $1500 for the MAC-1 FT machine… That thing rocks, well it looks great!!
Do you think the Pink Plinker will be a valid FT rifle or should I start saving up for something better?
Did anyone catch the butt plate on the new CO2 tanks??? They really need to hire WOK or someone from here to get it ‘just right’. 😉
I saw that. The screwed up on that for sure. What it needs is a 1/2″ piece of aluminum that clamps over the piece of round stock and then a Wokbutt plate. That way it could be adjusted for laterally and for cant.
How come they alway just come short of doing it right on some things. The butt plate and trigger guard on the Edge should be up to the same caliber of the rest of the rifle.
I wonder what size barrel it has and if it comes in black… 😆

When I asked them months ago about details of the bottles, they said it’s not using any of the existing valves (Talon, Condor or Micro-Meter) and it would be a new design, but it would not be a regulated valve…
