Q:

What could be wrong?

I was shooting talon ss with 24″ barrel today. But it could not group well, it did about 1″. It’s been shooting very well, one hole group at 36y. I went to check muzzle velocity. It was running 880 to 886fps. It’s just not changed at all. What could be wrong? it could not group now. Any idea? Thanks

Thank you all. I found two things wrong. First the tophat is a little loose. Even it has same muzzle velocity, POI will move. Second, I did clean the barrel. After fixing the loose tophat and about 20 shots, the accuracy comes back now.

Stock screw or grip internal attaching screw loose.

Dirty bbl.

Freshly cleaned bbl.

Top hat loose. (This one happens alot!)

Barrel screws loose.

Not holding yiour toung right. 😆

or just shifting wind patterns

There is a big list that could be wrong. Narrow it down a little like include if you recently cleaned the barrel or taken it apart or messed with anything on the gun.
