Cricket mag mod
Howdy yall…
I’ve grown tired of the mag holder in the cricket buttstock, well not the holder per se but that the mags won’t stay in there until I want to take them out.
For example when you open mag holder nr2 from the front then the mag in the first holder think it’s a good idea to pop out and in the worst case scenario it drops to the ground and you loose it or it get stuck halfway and hinder the second mag holder to close which is more of a nuisance.
So what to do…? Well I took the two thin orings on the mags and substituted them with one thicker oring so now it fits snuggly in the holder and doesn’t fall out and still indexing when reloading. No problem with the pellets either.
I took an oring I had laying around, 23.47mm x 2.62mm, and streched it over the mag and it fits and works perfectly.
I think some where around 2.5mm x 25mm would be spot on and perhaps easier to find than the one I happened to have.

But you have already “evolved” since you do have a Daughter,right ?? Envolving the family would be another matter altogether though…

The Evil Doctor never washes his used condoms, he turns them inside-out, as he does with his socks and underwear, and stuffs them inside his back pocket for later use!
Which brings to mind a question of the philosophical sort…if he conceives, via recycled sperm, does that make him a “Conservationist”?

Good idea, Doc! I don’t think you’re being totally honest about your “o-ring” that was just “laying around”. Tell us like it really is- you washed one of your used Condoms (size XS,thus the stretched diam 23.47) and decided to try the ring around the Cricket mag, didn’t you? Time to come clean…
