for ex; i am an experienced man with my Kurdish Klash, but you are not,,, 😆 😆 and my village is well-known for the best and good walnuts, and you are not… hahaha …

you have more choice and your doors are opened to get any hunting items, unlike my country, so you are correct, even i haven’t heard about the SS cleaning rod, thanks Ville, i might get one once i visit Europe next year summer (God Willing), if i will not spend my budget on other thing…. 😀

For airgun cleaning i don´t use no rod but if i did i´d definitely do it from the breech to muzzle direction = remove the breech for both EdGun & the Bug. For AG i use Patchworm with VFG felts and/or patches.

I use the PW for my RF rifles as well when i do the “on site” cleaning at the track after a session. A thorough powderburner barrel cleaning needs to be done with a rod,jag and brushes with solvents and shit but for AG a Patchworm and some Ballistol is all what´s needed. Impossible to damage the barrel.
I used Bore Snake (with the brush removed,of course) and while it works well and cleans the barrel in a sweep it needs to be washed after every use or you´ll just drag the crap into the bore again. The 20/20 Patchworm is “da shit”. Cheap,easy to use and takes almost no space in your rifle bag. And very safe for your barrel.

The part i don´t understand is that you have several (more than one) pellet stuck in there. Did you think you could shoot out the first one that got stuck ?? 😯

And Hemn – Coated rods are actually not the best ones. Nor are the aluminium ones. Coating and aluminium are soft and hard,abrasive particles get inbedded in them = not good.
Polished stainless is the way to go. I use THE best rods made – not Pro Shot, BTW 😆

Some prefer CF rods but i have doubts for the same reason i have for coated/aluminium.

Not better.
Coatings are prone to wear,nicks, and holding debris.
Polished Stainless isn’t scratching anything, stronger for diameter, will not get imbedded by debris, nor nick, nor wear, and easy to clean back to new with a simple wipe down.

A cleaning rod of the right caliber with a brass jag with the point filed off is best per my experience.
I prefer ProShot Stainless micro polished rods. They are strongest,easiest to clean, and do not scratch bores.
