hunting gloves
I’m needing to find a thin, warm glove (if there is such a thing) to wear when I’m out hunting. I’ve tried several cheap pair, but they are either;
(a) Warm but so bulky it makes it difficult to load ammo and have a sense of a feel of the trigger.
(b) Thin and no warmth to speak of.
I carry some of the hand warmers with me but I’d like to keep my hands in position to take aim and shoot if at all possible.

Cycling gloves. I can load in my long gloves. I prefer Pearl Izumi but there’s lots to choose from. Pick a larger bike shop and go when you have time to shop awhile.
Warm gloves with a trigger finger… and a pellet loader?
There are also “fingerless” gloves or those where the trigger finger has an opening for your trigger finger to protrude in order to get a better feel for the trigger.
Here in often frigid MN, I use 2 sets of gloves, one thin one for mild cold and a nicely insulated but not bulky pair for the “real” cold. I either wear one… or both while hunting.
I also have a pair that I can fold back the tip of the trigger finger and have just the thin pair underneath for contact with the trigger.
Both options work very well. Even the warm pair has a “trigger finger” that is more of a rubbery tipped section for a nice feel of the trigger.
I found these at K-mart and Wal-Mart has similar as of course do the sporting goods stores.
