I think the Matador in the video is a R2. AFAIK, no Matadors like the one in the video ever made it to the US.

The newer date on the video posting kind of threw me though.
But isn’t the valve pin missing a return spring inside the regulator body???
And the trigger linkage doesn’t move but the pin at the nut moves when the trigger is released.
Cool video though, must have taken some time. 😯
Wingman; my first R2.5 Matador was included in Tony’s second US Edgun shipment. The hammer, barrel and trigger setup is the same as all of the other R2.5 that I have ever seen.

That was the R1-R2-R something? It had a different hammer and trigger set up to the newer R3
