Reactive/field targets

What caliber and what power?
Most field targets are made for 20ft-lbs and less. Sure you could shoot them but they will get seriously beat up eventually.
I really like the After Hours/Rhino Targets, they have one called The Super Popper that has a disc with five different kill zones and the plate can be removed for a sixth, it’s string reset. He also makes one that is self resetting with a plate to make the kill zones all kind of sizes.

The quad is very cool, I may make one for my home range. I was interested in the mechanics of field targets, both pull & shoot to reset types. The kids don’t care much about punching paper like me, but they LOVE shooting the steel crow I have hanging at 100 yds from my porch. I think some steel reactive targets would really get them shooting!!!
Thats exactly what I thought, for the money you cant beat them.
I made my own based on his design…oops let me not say that too loud or I’ll get accused of making knock offs or counterfeits…lol….but I was bored at work and had my welding gear there so I said fuck it why not….
I still want to buy a steelplinker….you can’t beat that price of $50 bucks.
I own several from Steel Plinkers and they are great targets. Very well made. The quadrant and the zombie ones are my favorites.

Nope, but if you wait a week I can get you many photos of all angles of one and you can work it out yourself from that, they are not complicated 😉

Shooting a .25 Cricket @ 50 flb energy. If I built some, they would be made to withstand .22 rimfire also.
