Q:

Is there a way to turn off posts from a particular member?

I’m not sure about the software for this board, but on some boards there is an “ignore” function that allows you to turn off viewing posts from a particular member. It’s very useful when a particular member is continually ranting in multiple threads. Does this software allow that function?

***ahhh, figured it out – there is an “add foe” function that will default to ignoring a member added to the foe list***

No problem Knifemaker…

FYI – The humorous bit of my soul compels me to suggest that your are more of a curmudgeon anyhow….

LOL..

But I can’t even say that is true either…. and besides.. once we reach a certain age, we’ve earned the right to curmudgeonry….

Don’t you agree??

(I’ve got a little ways to go before I can use that excuse though….)

Aah, that was all nice and shit! 😳 😀 Thanks Rev!

Go to the top left of the post and click on the poster’s name. A menu pops up and you just click “add foe”, you will get a yes/no confirmation, click “yes” and that idiot’s posts will no longer appear on your screen. It will indicate he/she has posted, but you don’t have to look at the nonsense.
