Another Disco Double

Hello all, I’ve finally assembled (mostly) one of my projects. The Disco Double I’ve been waiting to build…

-Disco Double
-BNM Weaver Breech, with shroud
-MRod Trigger with power/stroke adjuster
-New Gauge- to replace the crap stock one
-Daystate bolt handle
-13xx Hammer Spring

This is going to be a 12fpe gun for quiet ratting. Still waiting for the Challenger Stock to come back from Norm… That is the last part I’m waiting for. I’m also waiting to shoot it of course. I can’t wait to get this thing assembled and dialed in!!
For your viewing pleasure:

I’m going to paint the challenger stock in Multicam as soon as It gets back. Norm’s going to machine out the channel for the 2nd tube, and drill the hole for the gauge on the bottom. I’ll go ahead and fill in the side gauge cut-out, if Norm doesn’t do it, and paint it up. Oh man… Those rats at the barn won’t know what hit them!!! Mwahahahahhaha! 😈 :8:

Well, finally finished painting the stock for the most part, still need to put on the clear. In due time. 1st attempt at Multicam not too good. I should have studied the layout of the pattern before I shot the paint… But anyhoo, as promised: For your viewing pleasure! Or displeasure… (sorry for the phone camera pics)

:8:

Now I just have to fine-tune it, sight it, and I’m off to the barn for much needed rat eradication!!! 😈 😈

Looking forward to hearing what she’ll do! 😀

Knife

Oh believe me, as soon as I get out of the Marines, I’m putting this rifle through it’s paces!!! I’ll put up some target shots, fps/psi, and shot strings and such. I would like to see more people doing this, as it’s a pretty good option for tinkerers, and it’s easier to tune than an Mrod… You don’t have to deal with the metering screw. Keep in mind guys, that this is going to be a 12 fpe rifle. I’ve built myself a little ratting rifle. I have a lot of barns in the area that are in need. It will be a while before I get those numbers out, so be patient! I hope the info helps others considering this type of build. :8:

VERY nice! i cannot wait to see some more pictures!
Maybe some of kills? 😛

Well, She’s done… Just have to figure out how to mount the trigger guard. Of course, I also need a scope. Dammit, I guess it’s not done yet. Well, here’s some pics of the stock I just received from Norm at DiscosRUs about 15 minutes ago. Sorry for the crap pics, they’re from my phone. Enjoy! :8:

Whole Rifle

Close up of the Challenger Stock, with two tubes

Not only did he mill out the 2nd tube channel, Norm filled the original gauge cut-out, and filled the original barrel band groove.

Just another shot of that Daystate bolt handle on the BNM Weaver breech… I really like the way it turned out!!

Norm also drilled out the hole for the Disco gauge.

Overall, the workmanship is PHENOMENAL!!! He really took his time, made sure it all fit (tight, but not too tight… basically perfect), and filled in any area’s that are no longer being used, like the Challenger gauge cut-out, and the Challenger barrel band groove. It looks awesome! I’ll sling some paint on her at the end of the month… I’m getting out of the Marines soon, so I have to do that first… arrrrgh, so close!!! :8:
