condor ss HPA vs CO2
some people want to know the difference in power with high pressure air vs CO2 so I did a little test.
The target was a steel plate at 25 yards. Condor ss 25 cal shooting 28.4gr H&N hunter extreme pellets
Had the gun set on power level 10.

I was joking about heat. When my sons were into paintball, I learned lots about CO2. Mostly that consistency is elusive. I once built a palm-heated CO2 heater forgrip. It worked great and accomplished nothing.

Co2 runs around 800-850 psi…
HPA runs at whatever you fill the tank to…so its in the 2000-3000psi range.
One could heat the Co2 and perhaps get 1000psi out of it, but when cold outside its down to 6-700 psi.
these are 2 diff animals.
Co2 is perfect for basement and backyard fun..but has very little power..U do get a few hundred low power shots on a tank full..it is fun to play with.
Co2 is a great learning tool and fine for birds in the back yard
HPA is high power..not affected by temp very much…downside only 40-50 shots per tank
I do not have a chronograph so can’t comment on the fps.
I was running 2800 psi in the hpa tank.
CO2 was at 70 degrees so approximately 853 psi
As far as heating the co2 you should be able to go online and Google what pressure it is at a given temp.
I know if it gets too high it will brake the burst disk in the co2 tank.
As far as shots per fill it really depends on temperature and If you are shooting up hill down hill or flat. The co2 is liquid so when the tank is full you will get a lot of it going out the bore. If you shoot up hill this will help get you to where you use the gas sooner and downhill makes you use the liquid faster..
I’ve got a heating pad with a manual control instead of a thermostat. I’m wondering just how much pressure CO2 will make given sufficient heat? 😈

Lots of those paintball guys get heated hunting socks..the ones that take a few batteries.
Co2 is a fun cheap way to go..
But, Once the POWER bug hits you…You WILL go HPA.
