Cheapo cantilever scope mounts from Amazon review

I bought 2 of the 30mm and 2 of the 1″ version also when I got my Edgun rifles to save some cost. I have Leupolds version and a Burris version as well so I know the difference. These cheapo versions will center well and lock down tight, return to “0” the same as the others but seem to jam or lock into position when trying to release from the rails, could be an easy fix if the maker would of just test their product 1 time before selling, typical Chinese manufacturing, ” It’s good enough “. This was irritating to me as I was using them for on and off constantly application. The only other real issue or two is the finish is like a thin powder coat that is too shiny for most any guns with a bluing or typical high quality black matt finish, It’s good enough again, but the price does reflect the lower cost of manufacturing. I also did not like the ring top fit with the lower main body as there was a large gap in between after clamped down on any scope, I don’t understand this as scopes don’t vary and are either 1” or 30mm so make it fit !!! I honestly will be removing these from service as I just can’t stand compromise and I have them on $2000+ air rifles that deserve better.

Cheap scope rings do two things, gouge and bend the scope tube and also cut through the tube coating. Why take the chance lowering the resale value. Makes no sense to me, high quality rifle, high quality scope and cheap O scope rings. 😯 👿
