How do you like that Burris mount? How’s the height?
The height needs to be measured from the bottom of the mount to either bottom of the scope tube or to the middle of the scope tube. I quess you measured the total height since it can’t be over 7cm tall on neither of those mentioned points. Am i right or am i right??

No, Brother Ville,,,, I measured the height starting from center of the Barrel to the center of the Scope… that is why it took me too much time,,, per Tedholdover’s vid, we should measure the height of the scope like this… i don’t know am i right? or am I right??
My Dear Brother Btango,
i am really sorry, for what? for that i am sure you or somebody else asked me this question long time ago, but at that time i couldn’t get the correct measurement, anyhow if it was you or anybody . sorry for being late, now i have my item and i think i got the correct measurement, it is (7.005cm) or (2.758in), it was not that easy to measure the height, i tried several ways to measure it, i got only this measurement, if i am wrong, please please some one help me and correct this for us…
hope this helped my brother Btango …

i have experiance with 2 piece scope mounts, it is not comfortable and needs more effort and work to mount and install,,, i mean for balancing and all … but one piece burries is very good and easy ..it will not kill your time .. it will center itself and keep zero and looks nice also…
they are great and durable.. it worth the money .. it is rated for firearms not even for air rifles…so it will work perfectly and easily on PCPs …
for me it is really good… i don’t know if this model has the dovetail or just pecatiny ? i would like to use this for all my PCPs …
i know there are more brands that 1000 times better than this Burries scope mount,,, but they have a very hot price ..

Hey man….it’s alright! No worries Hemn…what I was really wanting to know is how do “YOU” like the rings? Like does it allow for more maneuverability? Good eye relief? Or are you having to do things you normally wouldn’t because you can’t position the rings where you want? That’s pretty much what I was asking.

Here’s my Eddie in my pelican case.

I have the 36″ Plano Gun Gaurd case that I got on sale, when I had a Rainstorm 3D. It’s not Pelican quality, but is nice for the price.

They had the exact same Plano cases with the yellow handle but the next shorter ones at my local Wal-Mart for $60 for a short time. I should have bought one.
Here’s a link for a 36″ hard rifle case by Plano http://www.amazon.com/Plano-Molding-Company-Weather-Tactical/dp/B00E221A88/ref=pd_sim_sg_2 again I’m not saying they are better than a Pelican but there’s no denying the savings.
I know Pelican is the bee’s knee’s of hard cases…but unless you are traveling I don’t see a need for them. Plano has a line of hard cases that are less expensive and they hold there own. Not on par with the Pelican but not bad either. I stick with soft bags as it’s easier to grab several bags in one hand than it is grabbing hard cases. I would eventually like to get a hard case that can hold 2 like this http://www.amazon.com/Plano-Double-Scoped-Rifle-Wheels/dp/B0029KDHQI/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1389976196&sr=8-8&keywords=plano+double+rifle+case

Thanks, Hemn. What series case you would like to have if let you pick?
I’m looking at Pelican 1700 case now. Interior Dimensions: 35.75″ x 13.50″ x 5.25″ (90.8 x 34.3 x 13.3 cm).
My r3m .22 std has 30″ x 11″x 3″ with my scope. I think it’s good.
Hemn, I do feel lucky, I have traveled quite allot and feel like I can say that with some experience behind the statement. Our society is to some extent falling apart as our middle class is getting clobbered with a lack of jobs and inflation so that part is discouraging but still a great place to live for now. If there is ever anything you want from the US and need a helper over here, please feel free to ask and for one will be anxious to help get and send it to you !!!

Yep – thatΒ΄s how you measure the scope height. I thought he was asking about the height of the mount since he was asking questions about the mount. In that case – my bad …
