Removing the Condor air gauge?
After putting a 1% gauge on my SCUBA adapter, I’m seeing that the pressure gauge on my Condor is over 300lb low at 3,000lb. Reading the posts, I see that’s a common problem.
I’ve ordered a 1 1/2” 1% gauge as a replacement.
Looking at the Condor, the OEM gauge looks like a 1/8” NPT but there’s no hex wrench fitting.
How do we remove the OEM gauge? Ax? Saw?

. Better yet take Mr newbie advice don’t do it if you unscrew it to much that would be very very bad my tank started to drain air after about 3/4 of one rotation so it had plenty of thread to hold on to yours could need god knows how much more to start to leak and if you don’t have much to hold on to POP

Drain your tank another way!
i used a 15/16 socket it fits perfect and doesn’t chew it up —– do NOT unscrew it under pressure or the gauge will turn into a huge projectile

If if gauge has flat sides then an adjustable wrench will work. If not channel locks,round type vise grips or maybe a strap wrench.Just make sure its Completely Empty before you start.
