Whats an alternitive to the JSB 18
for the cricket .22. I’m blowing holes in the top of silos with the 18 jsb.I am wondering if i could power down the cricket and use a lighter pellet and get the same accuracy as the 18g JSBs. What other pellet does it shoot well and still be accurate. I position myself and wait for starlings to come in and enter a big hole on the side of silo roof. If i hit the starling pellet goes inside of silo and punches a hole in roof. what makes it worse is i can only get to them at that certain spot so i’d be hitting that area of roof pretty often. Any sugestions

FWIW my Edgun detuned to shoot JSB 13.4s at 810fps ie 20fpe still pops starlings quite effectively out to 50yds and still will pop holes in metal barn walls on closer pass throughs. I’ve played with predators quite a bit and like them for max impact damage with minimal pass through damage to metal. Full expansion happens around 700fps mark so I keep them to at least that speed at impact. Very effective.
