Q:

New airgun new member

Hello
I’ve been reading this forum for a couple of months. I’m relatively new to airguns having purchased a marauder last summer and modding it over a period of months. It just never measured up interms of accuracy, flyers, shot count and size. After some searching I came across Steve at wwag and bought a .25 cricket. Great purchasing experience and fantastic gun. I will try to post some photos. I purchased the gun the first part I’d dec and have it shooting at 960 fps with jsb’s it shoots a clip into 1/2 in at 60 yds, no flyers! It hit hard and I can’t wait for spring gophers. I live outside of town but with recent building developments can’t shoot a .22 anymore in my yard. Anyway I probably don’t have too much importand to say but love the gun and enjoy others posts and photos so I thought I’d add mine. I’m sure I would love a matador but couldn’t wait. Lol. Thanks for all the info I’ve received by reading the forum.

The Honeymoon will soon be over and you´ll come to realize just what kind of a mess you´ve got yourself into. Weird but good people though – except some crazy Swedes , a New Zealander hooked on Coffein and a cranky Uncle from Arkansas. 😯
Coda too has some issues …

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Welcome Juice! Congrats on your new Cricket!

Juice, my gal was born in 1961! 1957 for this ol’ curmudgeon :biggrinn:

I love the look of that cricket rifle..just wish my tax return wasn’t going on a new boiler for the house…. :sadn:

My tax return is going to pay off my Mastercard bill for this bad boy!!!!!LOL…….. Shoot now…pay later 😉

Another Cricket in the mix next year I hope!!!!!!!

Welcome aboard, my .25 S-Rod had to hit the road after buying the .25 Cricket rifle. I traded the S-Rod for tuned .177 M-Rod, and like it much better than I did the S-Rod.
Wanna .22 Hummingbird now! ;- )

I upload to a website called picture trail and then grab the URL and copy and paste it in your post where you want the picture.

Thanks for the welcome.
As I’m semi computer illiterate I was looking got a tutorial on how to post photos. Couldn’t find anything. I’m sure there is someplace if someone would direct me I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Juice,

Crickets are awesome guns and may I add that 1/2 group at 60 yards is also very impressive shooting!!

I am going to add that Cricket is going to be on the list of next airgun to buy.

Welcome to TAG Bullpup! Looking forward for more of your posts, make sure include pictures.

John

Welcome. Great gun and great place to buy it…

not much important to say here either….welcome!

Hi and welcome ! I happen to own the same exact Cricket and it sure is one accurate rifle. Now i´m waiting for a Compact in .177 too . As a Cricket owner you´ve come to the right place and this Forum is going to be a good source of info for you – the best on the Net. You´ll learn your rifle inside and out and if you´re interrested in tuning it to the perfection all the info needed is right here. :fishinghole:

Nice having yaa :8: I think you’ll like it better here than the yellow!
