So Cali meet and greets?
Are there any meet and greets in San Diego County maybe a fun shoot of sorts? Been looking to meet some local members and maybe do some shooting but seems that either anything that happens is WAY north, spur of the moment or is a FT type of shoot where .25 and up just don’t really fit in.

What’s up guys. I’m also in San Diego east Chula Vista. Took my condor out to the jamul blm Saturday. I was plinking some steel targets I made in my shop at 50-115 yards. My buddy was shooting his Remington .308 at 375 yards. If you haven’t been there it’s a great place to shoot air rifles and firearms. Everybody is really cool out there and respects the free range. Border patrol is really cool with it too. I’m definitely down to meet some other airgunners as all my friends are powder burners.

Just an update, I contacted the Pala range via email to check if they will permit air gun shooting on their range will update this thread with their response.
In Texas you can hunt any non-game which is a lot of critters. Their regulations don’t allow any game animals to be taken with air; but that leaves jackrabbits, cottontails, prairie dogs ,ground squirrels, pigeons, raccoons, ringtails, fox, bobcats, coyotes, hogs, and all the exotics.
Jim Chapman rates Texas as the #1 best airgun hunting state. He gives us in Missouri #5 best state and the most deer taken with airguns.

Yes, i am a kalifornian. I’ve grown up surfing and skating here and even went on a few kitesurfing tours up and down this state. I could see the ocean from my place but unfortunately it’s time to go. And yes i love shooting and hunting much more than all that. We are re-locating to TEXAS!!! and I know you can’t exactly “hunt” with an AG in Texas but, i’m just done with this liberal state and new laws and rules. Plus i heard that they will be banning lead in 2015-16? Cost of living in san diego is second in the nation! okay enough of my rant..!!! It is what it is….
I haven’t shot my 30 cal since it hit the 1100 mark but I have a few spare valve stems.
It’s getting time to ditch that state unless they break it up from the whackos down south. I know some folks in the north that just are getting ready to move to Idaho. Many of my hunting forum buddies have left already. Several to Arizona, one to Nevada, another to Tennessee.

So far so good Brant, but im not sure about the semi-autos, i guess im gonna hold on on the Kalibr Colibri!!! 😥 im still have all my PBs semis, if they pass the law im gonna be looking for a new home on a different state, i love cali weather but i love my shooting more! 😉
Motorcycles are a badddd hobby first you buy one and then before you know it you have 4 Harleys sitting in the garage

All this talk of Motorcycles and guns is making me want to take a road trip. SD is just a little far to travel for me for a couple of hours of plinking, but it does sound like a good time. Hope things work out and there is plenty of shooting and hanging out.
