question barrel cleaning
Hello everyone,
i have a question, how do you clean your crickets barrel?
i use a boresnake on my hw100 but i heard some horror stories about pulling the
o ring out of the action.
anyway, i have a cricket in .22 since last week and need some advise.

I use this works on all my guns. Just pick up a straw that will get you part the baffles and your all set.

Preferably with the Patchworm and cleaning heads in correct size .

Just stay clear of the burgers & fries or it will be you that need pipe cleaning 😉

That´s the Gay approach on this. The Patchworm costs practically nothing and comes with different spacers/cleaning heads for all the calibers imaginable = clean your AG, your 338 Lapua Magnum and your 12 gage with the same Worm. Patches are virtually free compared to Dr. Cheapshit´s VFG felts.
That said i use VFG felts with my PW too … 😯

A piece of weed-whacker string, color of your liking, take a lighter and heat one end and squish it so that it expands and cut it to length.
Inexpensive and works just like the store bought one. Thread some VFG felt rifle cleaners on it with or without solvent or oil depending on the job at hand and you’re good to go. If you think it’s a hassle to get it thru the moderator / silencer? Go to mc donalds and pick up some straws and use as a guide in the mod/silencer.
Simple and inexpensive and with that warm fuzzy feeling of DIY 😉

You shouldn´t use a Bore Snake anyway before you remove the brass brush.
