What are you guys using to take out the top brass spring retainer? I couldn’t find a spanner wench small enough.
The only difference I can see from just seeing the pic is the actual seal it’s self.
Years ago when I told Rachel that i was working on the gun gun my self, she almost had a cow.
When I explained to her that I was a machinest, and had been gunsmithing for over 40 yeas, all , she said was Well then, what ever you need! 😉
the talon p valve

Oh, ok. I guess you just need to know what your talking about when you call them for parts because she didn’t sound like she wanted to sale me any parts but maybe she was just was trying to help me use my warranty.
What is a direct flow?
and if you want to change the high flow to a direct flow you would need a new delrin seal, valve spring, and brass spring retainer
just called $14.75 plus shipping so add another $2 lets say

She wouldn’t tell me, she just kept say they would take care of it.
I asked how much a new valve would run me if I sent it off and it started leaking agian and she said they would replace the whole valve.
So it sounds like to me they don’t want to sell me any part’s.
But I’m going to send it off one more time.
Thanks
How much would the brass piece have costed you

OK, I just talked to Rachel at Airforce and told her my story plus told her I opened it up to try and fix it myself, she said it wasn’t a problem to send it in because I just had it in there in june for a leak.
I hope all goes well and they don’t give me a problem when they open it up and see I’ve been in there because the threads on the bottom brass spring retainer had green thread locker on it and I only had white thread locker at the time. 🙄
Airforce airgun people are good so far ! 😀
Thanks
I know they can’t prove anything unless you polished the valve then sent it back to them for warranty work

If you are talking about the top brass cap that the valve stem goes thru, I ground down the front of a socket wrench socket, and left two small tabs that fit the tow small slots on the face of it. Works like a charm. But then again, I have equipment here that will grind high speed steel like butter, and keep it cool at the same time. 😉 😀
