"Texas Marauder.25 Exposed"
Hello All,
I tore my Marauder.25 synthetic down to replace the o-rings with urethane 90 duro’s and to put in a hill de-pinger and thought I’d take some pictures.
All the parts in the pictures are OEM accept, the white&green o-rings, the two Hill de-pingers, a Hill coned shaped transfer port and the black tape on the stock.
The scope is a Hawke Sport HD IR 4-12x50mm AO mil dot reticle.

Here’s the first shot string after putting her back together, this is with a OEM de-pinger\Hill’s short de-pinger\Hill’s cone shaped transfer port and replaced all o-rings with urethane 90A.
I had some problems right from the get go, I guess I loaded two pellets at the same time?
I was having some funny velocities, then I hear what sounds like the pellet shattering across the room after hitting a metal bullet box so open up the end of the shroud and out comes a twisted piece of lead and some bits and piece of two of my baffles! 🙁
Lucky, I had some extra baffles laying around, this happen once before when I first got the gun, I called Crosman and they sent me five new baffles, I had three left over! 😀 Lucky
I clean the barrel, it was filthy and then I shot this string with no problem.
The Part number on the new Baffles are #1764-006
H.S. 4 turns clockwise\Striker 1 turn clockwise\velocity screw 6 turns counter clockwise.
Fill pressure 3100-2100
I’ve got to bring that curve down.

I’ll let you know for sure, I’ve been at work all day and I still need to run in to Austin tomorrow and get my tank filled.
I don’t know if it’s going to make a huge difference because I think he design them to be use in conjunction with your valve body drilled out too.

I know the baffles are a new design,I never owned the gen 1 version of the Marauder but I know the baffles were longer and I think there were only four and I’m not even sure there was a spring in the the the gen 1.
The gun is super quite! That being said, my Condor.25 is even more quieter and more powerful.
I’ve got a RL Airgun Supply,shroud, I think I paid $120 for it .

Yeah, just wondering how the mod of the transfer port did for ya. I ported cylinder heads for years for drag racing. Some tricks really do work.

Ok I must have been talking out of my ass, this gun is not shooting 80 fpe. But very quiet.
I just tried to search for a youtube video I saw not too long ago. This guy was shooting some sort of AF gun and he had a suppressor on it. The gun was shooting 80-100 fpe and all you hear is a slight hammer slap. It was amazing to control that much airflow. Coulndn’t find the video. What kind of LDC do you have on the Condor?
