Troubleshooting a leaking Lelya?
I have a Lelya that was delivered (new from factory) to me already leaking. Knowing that it most probably would be an easy fix I didnt care about it too much (as in contacting seller) but just though I will fix it whenever I have time.
It’s leaking really slow, about 5-8 bar / 24 hrs and taking it apart theres nothing that seems to be out of place.
So how do I do this? should I just dip that sucker (air tube) in the tub and see if any bubbles come out or is there some other smart method I can use (like replacing all o-rings and stop looking for that one which is failing?). Is it only possible that there is a leak between front (air gauge/filling port) and back (regulator) or can the leak be beyond that?
You see… Im not that familiar with the technical side of these rifles 🙂

She’s all fine now guys… took her apart, greased her up a little with some silicone grease and put her back together…. tight as a tiger!

sorry but maybe Dear Uncle Hoot just got it right, maybe I’m not yet up to speed…..
Should I have asked if he drilled the stock before advising him to get it fixed or replaced? 😯

Although a replacement – Lelya can be a bit hard to come by … You truly should´ve known so shame on you. Shame !
Could be the valve.
If you are keen to open the gun, polish the brass or steel part of the valve rod that should seal when opening/closing.
Sorry, don’t have a picture.
But if the gun is brand new why don’t you just consider to send it back to get it fixed or replaced?

But the balloons and condoms should be entertaining at the very least.
Please not balloons. A lelya is a refined PCP and sought the world over. Especially coveted by Lesbians :hoot: , if you must, please use a XL condom to cover her air tube. I would suggest one with ribs, for her pleasure! 🙄 🙄

Thanks both of you… I will do the balloon thing first. Take off the entire airtube and place a balloon on each end of it 🙂
I had not seen the assembly videos, just the DISassembly one and these were so much better.
WK; I’m not planning to get rid of the Lelya just yet but if I ever do I’ll let you know 🙂

Use a squirt bottle with a touch of soap in it and spray at any connections were air will leak.
Also put a ballon on the barrel over night and see if it inflates
