Q:

Cricket .25 on the way help

To choose a FFP scope.
I have a Cricket .22 and Fx 400 .22 with a Hawk Sidewinder mill dot scope on Bothe, like to get a FFP scope with MOA reticle that will focus down to at least 20 yards, any ideas.

quote RIDETOEAT:

I just mounted my scope and bipod this afternoon and took a ground hog out this evening for a friend that has been telling me to come eradicate them for him. It is a brand new gun but shooting very tight out to 50 so far. A good head shot from the side turns their light off instantly. I got lucky when I went down to his place and there was a beer can in the distance and it ranged at 50 yards so I got a quick zero on it.

Did you select the shorter stock for your .25 as a preference?

Nice going guys. Would be nice to get into patch with couple hundred of them with 25 cricket

Nice shooting and dinner to boot. I get them in the backyard too and the last one succumbed to the .25 matador. :4:

The last beast.

I like the length and weight a lot, I wonder if it will focus down to 10-15 yards, specs don’t say, that could kill it for me if not. Pricy too, 60% extra for those benifits is a tough pill to swallow but the optics would likely shine !!

This is what I would really love.

I have been looking too but anything I would want is ways over my budget. Looks like the magnification has to be no more than 14 power for decent thin reticles. For hunting that is good enough but not for 100 yards paper punching. I can’t figure out why Hawke doesn’t build one of its SW line into a ffp format
