Hello all, finally got logged on!
I’m a new airgunner with several PCP’s and have been busy with help from Ernest. I will be making/maching a lot of cricket tools, accessories and some Matador things as well. Just finished the first dual gun probe for Ernest, busy tuner that he is. This was a custom build and may be offering them to.
That’s all for now. I have really enjoyed this forum and am exited to finally be on board.

Hi John looking forward to more of your threads, I’m a neube when it comes to the tech side of these, I bought Ernest’s Cricket Compact .25 from Ben, sent it to Ernest today to have him check it out and tweak it if need be.
I think you should consider a degas screw like on your Reg setter being added to the air tube end plugs on these guns, very convenient and easy on the Matador for sure, not sure on the cricket yet as I have not yet tore one of these down.
there is a bleed set screw on the side of the firing valve on the cricket, so not need for a degase tool on the cricket, I seen a few that leak no matter how tight the set screw is, the fix—-> remove ball seat and replace with a 1.5mm delrin or plactic seat.

Now one of two machinist I work with came out of the basement :rofl: but one remain anonymize—->his vary busy working on the Edgun metal valve stem production.

John is working on a .22 compact with a smooth twist barrel, has to shorten a long air tube, shorten the barrel, make bushing and adapter to finish my personal conversion. will post photos and speed accuracy. this one will have a Hw100 LDC that’s almost flush with the air tube in length.
and also requested a mod shroud replacement that has a male 1/2″ 20 threads with cap for LDC use. should look like a .30 matador 1 5/8″ OD mod.
