Changing from Standard barrel to long barrel r3m 25

So, I’ve wanted to know for a long time how much of a difrence the long barrel makes. I was going to get a smooth twist or something else, but tony said he could make me a deal on some left over edgun parts. So, I have a conversion kit coming soon. I may end up with the best of both worlds. Since I’ve still got the standard air tube and stock, it will be a little lighter than an actual long and not as hard to pump up with a hamp pump. I know what your thinking, why not just sell the standard and buy a long. Well, tony said he doesn’t have any long coming for a while and this is costing me much less than I would end up losing by selling and rebuying.

I’ve had isues with low shot count (like 33 shots at 860 fps with jsb) so I’ve also got a new regulator on the way. I planning to getting the new reg adjusted with the standard barrel and then measuring shot count and fps. Then swapping out barrels without any reg adjustments and remeasuing. Thank god this is a hobby and I don’t realy have to justify my actions. Censure other wise I’d seam insane. :rofl:
