New PREDATOR POLYMAG heavyweights **UPDATE: GOOD NEWS**

just read an article in the February 2008 edition of PREDATOR EXTREME magazine that JSB predator polymags will b offered in 2 HEAVYWEIGHT configurations. .177 will b 11 grains and the .22 will b 25 grs. HUMMMM???? NICE!!!!!

They were calling them BIG BOYS. Don’t know if that is the official name but thats what was in print.

No release date either.

GOOD NEWS.

Talked to Dick Dixon today at Predator International and he CONFIRMED that they will be releasing the 2 heavyweight versions of the popular .177 and .22 PREDATOR POLYMAGS. He sais that the .177 will not be 11 grains but will be 13-14 grains 😯 and that the .22 versions will be 25 grains as posted above. They will also be called the “BIG BOYS”. He also Emailed me after i got off the phone with him and is sending me some samples of the .22 BIG BOYS to test for them. He wants input. I also asked him about the .25 versions and what was up with the release date. They basically are on the back burner for now cause like the .20 at first, they did not think there was a HIGH ENOUGH demand for them. I told him that there is a lot of people that would love to buy them in .25, and that he should start going on some of these airgun websites to find out from the SHOOTERS what they want. He also said that when they started with the .20, things were kinda slow as far as demand goes but once people got wind of the .20 being made, his phone lines got flooded by thousands of calls….HE HE. I told him that, beleive it or not, the same thing will happen with the .25. SO MAKE THEM….HE HE.

Hey Anthony, i am not understanding. MY BAD.

So what did Tom May say about the NEW WEIGHTS in .22 and .177. The .20’s are already out and have been for a while now. So what are they working on with the .20…. its here already. I can make a copy of the article and post it.

Did TOM MAY or Predator know anything about the article?

I spoke with Tom May and it looks like they are busy with the .20.

If we want a .22 or a .25 it needs to be heavy for our Condors.

30+ grains, dont see that happening for a while, if at all.

I am seeing it here as well and on network54 fourms. I am on fiberoptics and it is faster then a T1 line and it still takes at least 5-10seconds to load. On the YF some times it can take up to 30 seconds.

Damn a 25 grain Pred is going to be a mother f’ing sledge hammer!!! If it is accurate that is going to be awsome.

I have actually called them over a year ago about the .20 and .25 versions and when they were to be launched. I forget the details now but, the .20 cal version was to come out soon (and NOW it’s finally here) with the .25 version still in the testing/tooling phase. Now i read that 2 new weights are almost among us. Hell, when will they even be out?

My BSA Shoots the 16 gr version at about 1″ at 55 yrds which is decent for hunting so i hope they LOOOOOVE the 25 gr weight.

Maybe i will call them and see whats up
