Best Reigning Bullpup Commerically Available in USA

Baby (Compact) Cricket in .177. After nearly 2000 shots through it the honor was overdue. It basically meets every requirement of the perfect plinker. Small, light, decent shot count, very accurate, high count magazine, ergonomic, great trigger, quiet, good fit and finish, reliable, very easy to maintain but great stock w/o mods or fixes, smooth lever action (after 1000 shots), and nice light wood stock and check piece. Will the Hummingbird beat it? 😯

It is a bit scary these days how good the Chinese products have become that are being created to compete in the US markets (not clones or other junk being dumped on the US). The QC has vastly improved from a decade ago and rivals many US made products.

Lovin the look of these compacts even thought about swapping my .25 wst for a 22 skele cmpact as for the p12 cant see it even nearly comparing with crickets or edguns the chinky guns have always been cheap tat

Someone needs to open there eyes and start reading labels…. The Chinese are all over everything. Even that computer your typing on.

Last time I checked Titanium wasn’t exactly cheap….

Maybe you should do a little research before spouting off at the mouth (with the help of your “chinky” keyboard of course)

Not surprising that someone who uses the term chinky would disparage their guns off hand.

Got one on the way. Hopefully in WWAG’s next shipment. The reviews on this little gem has been so impressive I had to have one in my collection. :biggrinn: :8:

For the tiny gun with the power level (900 fps 19 fpe) its set at with the JSB heavies that’s actually a great shot count. I was trying to be modest about the gun. It’s greeeeeat! It still makes a nice puff of feathers and a whack sound on impact nearly like a .22 18 but just a bit quieter. I would limit the practical range, though, to about 75-80 yards. πŸ˜‰

You can play with the power level and kick it up well over 100 shots and make it silent if need be. (I think Ernest said he got one to 150 shots).

What should you be getting with a .177??

IDk….

I think the hummingbird will have a class of its own….

i think it may be a have to have gun for most. but then comes the traditional BP.

and that is where i think the P12 is gonna make it Rain!!!

If them chinese can reproduce the product they sent wingman… coupled with that HUUB Reg. were talking sub 800$ machine that shoots right there near the top of the food chain

After owning the BC and now this Cricket Comp. I won’t ever buy another FX product. And the Trigger on the BC doesn’t impress me.

now maybe this might open some peoples eyes…..( copied from teds holdover blog comments section on IWA post)

Yes – a review is coming. It was suppose to happen before Christmas, but life got busy and…..
So, now it is #2 on the review list, after the big bullpup comparison (Cricket vs Matador vs P12 vs Bobcat).
