Dual regulators possible? Cricket regulator question.

My .25 cricket in not very efficient using air from 250-200 bar and very efficient from 200 down to 120 or so. I’m assuming this is due to the extreme high pressure at first. My question is would it be possible to install a second regulator of some sort to increase the effiency? Would it be worth the loss in capacity? Would the better use of air offset the loss of capacity? Could this be accomplished with a smaller regulator. ie) wouldn’t have to be as accurate as the final one so could be smaller? Just seems a shame to waste the extra capacity of the gun. Or should I just shutup and be happy and shoot. By the way I am extremely happy with the gun.
