Q:

low power non illuminated sight?

I have a night vision monocular ( think its 1.5 x zoom ) with scope mount. so am looking for a low magnification scope to go with it. Are there any 1x scope that are not red dot or are there any low power scopes of 2x or less with OA or SF with a large ish objective? Thanks

lol. I think we have all been there.

i swear when i uploaded the scopes he was $10 cheaper maybe they lowered there prices i dont know anymore. I’m 25 and sometimes feel 60 :confusedn:

Pandemic what do you mean by cheap? They are the same price as PA and airgun depot. Or am i missing a coupon code thru Talon Tunes.

Go to Talon Tunes for Hawke scopes he has them very cheap

Thanks for the help guys. That bugbuster looks great value. Its a shame it was not available in a lower power magnification as it would have been perfect. That bushnell looked perfect and I do like bushnell as a brand. I almost got the bushnell until I found a Hawke Sport 2-7×32 OA going cheap so thought id give it a pop. I am hoping its turns out to be good value and not just cheap and nasty.

Did a search for 2-7x AO and found the Bushnell 2-7×32 AR/rimfire side focus/parallax min 10yd focus. I guess I’m behind the times, so you can find a 2x scope with side focus, my bad 😳 Don’t know if it’s better than the ‘bugBuster’ , but it does have the most preferred “side parallax turret”. 😆

Consider the 80 buck bugbuster…

It can focus down to like 3-4 yards. I have the 3×9 version..i think they have a few fixed versions as well.
They do have built in illumination..but you don’t have to tun it on..
Very small..very lightweight…iI like it

take a look..worth a few minutes of your time..

Leapers…bugbuster

Thanks for the reply. The problem I am having is most scopes with fixed parallax are fixed at to greater distance. I will only be using this at relatively close range. The built in magnification of the night vision monocular also amplifies any parallax issues. I have tried a few fixed parallax 3x scopes and they where unusable. I have a 2.5-16×50 SF Bushnell and it works out as around 4x zoom and it’s little to much. I tried a cheap red dot sight but the reticle was only visible when illuminated and so was useless with night vision. So I really need something with a none illuminated reticle and parallax adjust or no zoom.

At 2x you don’t need parallax adjustment! If you have a, for example a 3-12x AO or side turret parallax, set to 3x and adjust the parallax, now zoom to 12x and the focus/parallax will be out of focus/fuzzy sight picture. I set parallax at max mag and then move to 2x/3x. You’ll have to try it for yourself.
