Just got back my .22 compact cricket From “The MAN”….
he tuned it right up for me. 904-908 …. thats a ES of 4 within 33 shots. set the trigger at 3 oz… gotta be careful too much coffee and i think it might go off just touching it.
Im pretty stoked right now… but the wind is blowing like 20 mph outside so i haven’t got to shoot it. ……
I attempted to fux it up myself before sending to ernest and ending up having to drill out my bleed screw then i lost the ball bearing in there…. but ernest done “FIXED” it up nice
Thanks Ernest can’t wait to shoot it.. i been going stir crazy waiting on it and these dam pest have been out in full force. I may have to do so windage adjustments today 😀

The way i see it My cricket shoots 904-908 with a SD of 1.4 for 33 shots…
Im going to site this baby in at 40 yards. then I’m gonna print out my cheat cards for the scope, then I’m just gonna shoot the gun. this gun is forbidden from the crony.
I got 2 P12’s coming… and i might just send one Down to The MAN for a special treatment….

Yep, leave it to Ernest. He did mine “cricket that is” and it’s wonderful. Trigger 2-3 oz, accuracy you can’t believe, I just love shooting it! :4: :4: :4:

Cool. Some things are just better left to a professional. 😉 I have one gun AF airgun set at 4 oz and that’s a little light when I am used to about 8-12 ozs on most of my varmints. The Eds don’t go that low safely IMO.
I might have to send my compact to THE MAN too lol. Like you I’ve been fucking around with it, had it completely disassembled (except the breech).
When you get a chance to chrony it, do a few strings. Want to see if you still get that ES of 4 for 33 shots. That standard deviation must be like 1!!!

Ernest seems to be the Man indeed. I´d like to send my Bug to him for some TLC as well just to see what all the fuzz is about. I have very little time to Fux with mine since the PB´s take the most of my present spare time… 🙄

Got a chance to do some shooting today. …. Still pretty breezy but I wanted to at least try and site it in.
Man what difference these pellets at 905 really hit with authority!!!
Shot a couple 14 shot groups at 40 yards… We’ll under 1/2″
Can’t wait to shoot this on a nice calm day.
Ernest did a fine job!!! The tree rats have been taunting me they are gonna pay now
