Is it safe to…
…bleed the air tube through the pressure gauge of the Cricket. I saw a video of how this was done on an airforce air tank…you just loosen the gauge a little until you here a hiss, then you just wait. I figure now that I have my new pressure gauge removal tool, I can avoid using the bleed screw, since it’s known to fail and leak air. Any advice?

Next week I’ll have 4 Modified HSTA as a degaser, has a hole on the thumb screw and use like a T-handle to push the hammer to open the valve. so no need to mess with that delicate bleed screw that strip and leak often, have to make delrin seat when they leak. I’ll Post a video in how it’s use.
You can use the gauge to bleed, take about 4 turns till it start leaking and have finer control how fast it will drain out, oring don’t last that long if keep doing that.. Done that also on the Edgun, its safe–when you back out the gauge the oring will slide off the sealing surface in a slightly larger OD chamber–it will not blow the oring and gauge and kill anyone, there are 4 complete turn before the gauge unscrew off after you bleed all the air.
