Q:

Disco pressure mod

I am installing a pressure regulator in my Disco. Is there a mod that would allow fill pressure greater than the stock 2000 psi?

Thr valve retention screws still see full force! So don’t be tempted filling to higher pressure. Further more the tube isn’t designed to hold high pressure above 2000psi.

The reg that I was going to use is the custom disco reg. from AOA. Anyone heard anything about this device?

The problem with higher fill pressures in a Disco is the valve retention screws being strong enough to handle the added load (and valve lock). By putting a reg in between the valve and pressure load, you should be able to fill to a higher psi, because the valve is only getting the psi the reg is set at.
The above post suggestion are guys using an adapter to use a Ninja tank & reg.

I have seen people using a buddy bottle like on the Theoben Rapid rifles. Depending on the bottle used you could fill to 3000 or even 4500 psi. It involves cutting down the original tube, making a offset adapter up and modifying the stock.
