bleed screw replacment
hi all
am after a replacement bleed screw does anyone know the correct size i should get also herd some talk of a poly tipped screw?

What type of tip is on the stock 4x5mm bleeder set screw, is it cupped or flat ??

So all I should have to do is remove the bleed screw and the check ball should come out and then all I need to do is put one of the Mcmaster screws with the plastic tip and all is good??????

I just ordered some of these from McMaster. I have seen the video’s but am looking for a schematic / parts breakdown for the cricket. In this thread a ball bearing is mentioned and I do not remember seeing that. When did I miss it or where can I see it!!

I make mine by using a hole punch, use a 1.5-2mm thick nylon/delrin washer, removed ball check slide seat in tighten enough to seal.
I use a revers easy out for hand drill to remove strip set screw.

Is it degassed already??? If not… Remove the breech/ action
Find a piece of wood and hold the AirTube assy with the gauge pointed up and press the valve against the block of wood. That will dump all the air. The. Remove the the valve assy. That way you can secure it in a vise
Drill with a small bit the use an easy out.
May have to lightly tap the easy out in to get it to grip.
Did it with mine. Worked like a champ

this may be bad advice, but try an impact wrench? If you can buy an adapter for it it might work. For some reason it’s suppose to give tremendous torque and somehow ‘grips’ better. Otherwise, you might to just have to drill that sucker out.
How can I unscrew this screw if the allen key head killed
