Q:

Brand new Cricket leaking?

Hello guys!

I’ve been lurking for a while and finally recieved my own Cricket two weeks ago, one of the last .25 WST’s ever made apparently.

As soon as I got it I filled it up to 220 bar and left it sitting. It’s been very hectic for me these last couple of weeks and I hadn’t gotten around to play with the Cricket until yesterday – and that’s when I noticed it. The pressure had dropped to 180 bar during its time in the closet. As I’m new to PCP’s I just wanted to have some confirmation that it’s a leak. This isn’t normal, is it?

Theres a good chance its temprature change in the air cylinder over a few weeks it would of all leaked

I pump. It’s good excercise 😀

I bought it from Cyprys from this place called The Guns World. Really decent folks IMO, but I think I’ll try to sort this out myself. That way I’ll also get a bit of hands on experience with the Cricket.

Now I’m off to see how much pressure I can cram in it with the webley tri-pump!

I would say yes, a very, very slow leak. Do you pump or use a tank. If using a tank i would fill it to 275-300bar and do a soapy water check. Where did you buy it?
