Ground squirrel down

Got my second ground squirrel for the year. This time I got it with 22 cricket 38 yards and windy. Took spine shot and didn’t move. Got one with 25 the other day too but no picture. I must say those Crickets are phenomenal. Took starlings at 80 85 yards yesterday like it was nobody’s business. That’s from truck and bracing on my knees. It was the first time this spring when we had almost no wind and boy was she shooting great. Its amazing what a regulated gun does to your overall kill rate.

I’m finding the same thing with mine. 75- 85 yard shots are the norm here, people just shake their heads and walk off. They can’t believe the shot with a pellet gun.

Zonk it’s slowly sinking in how accurate these guns are. The other day when the wind finally was down to zero I made my rounds on my local pests and misses two out of a whole clip. All shots where past 60 yards. Took 3 at 85 yards. I remember with my Rainstorm I’d get on top of bell curve and would miss a few of the long shots as they were a half mil higher on top of curve. You always had to watch the air pressure and compensate for that. Not anymore. Just aim and watch it drop.

Nice Eelect, wish I was in a zone that has ground squirrels. Those Crickets are one hell of a gun that’s for sure.

Great shooting :biggrinn:, yeah no doubt about the reg, the added consistency has aided me a bunch in overall long range consistency :geekn:
