So, what part of the trigger group is the auto-locking piece?
Thats what im thinking too
Seems like it would be sloppy if nothing was put back in place of what is removed.

I took the safety out of my newer style talon P,
it did not require a spacer when reassembling.
all the pins in the trigger group have to be punched out,
as one of the pins runs through the safety,
reinstalling the trigger pieces was very tedious,
and took a bit of trial and error to get all the pieces working properly.
Not sure if you can remove it. I have only played with one gun and it is running next to the trigger parts. If you did remove it you would have to put back some spacers to fill in where it was.
Your best off to remove the little piece that makes it auto. Then you can just not use the safety. It will just be there and only work if you put it on.
I actually liked the safety. It’s just a bummer that there is something different that won’t let it work with my barrel riding hammer and a heavier hammer spring.
would anyone have a step-by-step removal of the safety for the new trigger group?
For me, the safety is superfluous… I dont want it.
wouldnt it be easier to just remove the little auto cocking dogleg?
then you could de-cock and still use the safety if you chose to.
otherwise,all the trigger components and pins have to come out,its a freakin pain,i did it to my talonp.

It tells you how to remove the piece that engages the safety when you cock the gun. I just did this to mine today and its a huge improvement. I love being able to de cock the gun.
