Funny test of the stability of the system.
Dissasembling/assembling for the time is quite interesting but any action has to have the real sence, not only jerking, isn’t it? 🙂 The purpose of the Matador design is simplicity. Maximum simplicity. The simplicity to such extent that it can be repaired for quarter of an hour while siting in the car, without any tools, special workshop, special experience, just because it was designed that way. But besides the comfort of repair (the access to the parts), the stability of how the system work is very important. For the functionality of the gun doesn’t depend on the skills of those who make the repair. The design of the gun should give the user the minimum possibility to make something wrong. It is important that after all the work the user could just take the gun and keep going on shooting without any additional movements, like installing the barrel in the right position, fixing the screws in a right way, zeroing the gun etc. So I thought that there is very simple way to test it, and that way is quite an convincing. So, just watch the video, I hope you will like it. 😆
One more thing, pay attention to all the mistakes I made during making this video. It just one more time proofs that all my video are not special prepared, I don’t make the plans, I don’t write the plot, before making video I have no idea what exactly I want to say :), so that is just a small part of my life filmed continuously :smilen:

Ed, Thanks for posting that video. Very enjoyable and good to see the step-by-step order to disassembly. Sometimes, it’s hard to see/know what order parts need to be removed and which ones are likely to get lost.
Also enjoyed the Russian swearing when the brass ring disappeared! Maybe you can educate us in Russian bad words/phrases with English translations! My mother is Lithuanian and that country does not have good curse words. So, she and my aunt always used Russian curse words. Of course, she refused to tell me and my brother what those words meant. One of the favorites sounded like ” Yopt vay you mat”. Any idea what this means? She was usually really pissed off when she said that-two “active” boys; what can one expect?
Many thanks for all the vids!
