Q:

Matador R3M short or standard?

So guys which one would you choose? I just can’t decide between then! It’s for hunting pests (small games and birds)

I’d like to know your thoughts please!

Thanks for the reply Wanta edgun

Unfortunatelly for Brazil .25 guns only with a major licence that I’m waiting for one year already and will probably wait forever. So I’ll have to go .22 that is plenty enough for the things I need at the moment 🙂

Regards, Calil

Now that I’ve got my 25 standard shooting 45-55 shots per fill, I’m quite happy with it. However, it is far too powerful for small animals at short range. My next gun will probably be a a 22 for closer work. If your looking for examples of what the 25 can do, just check out eds videos.
I myself hit a bird at 250+ yards last night. Two words for you…. Exit wound. I could not beveive that I could hit something the size of a bowling ball pin (head shot) at that distance or that it would have the power to exit. It was at -12 degree incline, So that helped the pellet keep some of its speed. This gun is unbelievable…… Scope maxed out plus 10.5 mil hold over and it still hit it. Keep in mind that the edgun scope rail is already slanted down to give more range. Any other gun and my scope just wouldn’t be enough to make that shot.

P.s. the scope is a bushy elite 6×24 ffp.

Thanks Ed! 🙂

Shorts are only in .22. If the distance is up to 100 meters and you are keen of compactness, take short one.

I’d like the .22 caliber

what caliber?
