Q:

Ideal Pressure for reg

Got a few questions for you guys, I tried searching but couldnt find the answers.

I just ordered a reg tester and wanted to know what everyone sets their regs to on both .22 R3m and .25 R3m? 115 bar?

Are the orings that come in the Matador good to go or should I change them out for good measure with fresh ones?

Thanks

Over 80k on 22 cal and over 20k on 25 cal. All original Orings.
Whole gun gets taken down and cleaned and internal Orings lubed with divers silicone grease appx every 10k.
A tiny drop of Balistol on the bolt probe Orings appx every 2500-3k pellets has kept them happy this whole time, they are original as well.

880-890 fps has given me MOA accuracy @100 with any head size 22 cal JSB 18.
I chased perfect head size with perfect speed on 22 for some time and ultimately came to find if I just slowed it down to 885fps on my particular long it would shoot them all exceptionally well. No more sorting.
940 fps with JSB 25 and Predator 25 is limit for long range stability. I keep Predators inside of 80 yds and JSBs I push out to 250yds. Predator POI is off less than 1/4″ at 80yds.
Inside of 100 yds the JSB 25 is still squirrel vitals accurate at a bit over 1000fps and the Predator at that speed still groups well out to mid 60s yds with appx 3/8-1/2″ to the right different POI.

R3 standart: 120 bar will do 276m/s max.

For .22 with jsb18s I want to be at 890 fps. From what ive read im thinking 110bar?

for .25 with jsb I want to be at 900 fps?

The regulator pressure and HST adjustment depends on your speed, read on here it is a lot of help in understanding the concept

Hi Brother,

I don’t think never that Edward used poor o-rings on his Matadors …. and I don’t think you need to change any Edgun original o-rings. …

We have brothers here that has fired more than 60,000 shots with his edguns and
mentioned to us that still all o-rings are original. … ..

Edgun o-rings are better than the o-rings that used on Cricket from factory. …

Iam sure you will get the same reply from others
