Hammer Spring Adjuster
I received a new cricket earlier this week and also ordered a hammer spring adjuster from AoA. When I finally got around to looking at the stock version I noticed it looked different than the 2-hole version I commonly see online. Is this a new allen wrench adjustable adjuster? Here is the pic

I am sure someone makes this besides AOA,,, AS far a mail order company goes AOA is a joke,
I am not sure how to trust an order from a company that lies about so many products,,,,
I would not as much as order a can of pellets from AOA.

I would suggest keeping the aftermarket adjuster. The OEM is plastic junk and won’t last very long.
Everyone will adjust their hammer spring from time to time because it’s the fastest way to adjust fops when using different pellet weights. There are times when you will want to remove it entirely for one reason or another. The threads are soft and easily damaged. At least that was my experience, so I replaced it with the metal aftermarket part and I believe it was money well spent. In the same importance category as the valve stem with the plastic head being replaced with the all metal part. Why wait for trouble when it can be avoided entirely?
These are two permanent fixes for problems that will turn your gun into a paperweight until replacement parts arrive.
Just my two cents worth of advice.

Hay, after market Cricket parts are getting harder to come by. I would keep it besides the new OEM one is still made of plastic, or you could send it to me. 😆
I made this one for the old style out of a dowel, cut offs from an old drill bit ends and inlayed two O-rings for the grips.

Ok, thanks guys. I may see how easy it is to adjust and since I always have a set of allen wrenches in my case. I may send back the aftermarket one if I like the OEM
Don’t worry just remove the original spring cap with allen wrench and install hst adjuster what you bought on the place and you are ready to go.
Kalibrgun does some minor changes between every patch what they produce, but there is no need to worry 🙂
