It sounds really quiet in the video too… did you shorten the barrel to match the shroud, or did you just shorten the shroud? That really is an awesome little rifle!!! If I didn’t already have so many projects I would totally so something like this!

quote Caboose212:

That is too cool!! Did it come like that or did you make the 1pc stock, the AR adapter, and shorten the barrel/shroud?

This was a Homemade project 😀

I cut the standard Rainstorm Stock and added the AR collapsable, I cut the holes to reduce weight and for looks too :winkn:

The shroud was cut and rethreaded,

now it’s supershort, packable and real, real light.

I added a few mods since I took those pictures,…I’ll take more shortly and post them

Kinda Neat! 😉

Hmmmmm, i’m going look one of those up. NICE

Man, that is sweet!! I’ll have to post up pics of my pack gun when I get it finished…

Talon frame
12″ .22 barrel
Custom tube reservoir w/Edge stock and a mini WOK butt (stock edge tank is 9.5″, this one is 10″ w/a Talon valve, and a 1pc tophat)
Edge grip
WOKGard (just the trigger guard)
AF stock fore grip
UNF end cap adapter (looks like an SS endcap, but with UNF threads protruding to mount an LDC)
Neil Clague LDC
Scope rail lowered w/a Tri-rail in it’s place
Sidecocker
Beeman SS2 Scope (clone, on EBAY)

Easy to remove tank and LDC to pack it away nice and small and light… It’ll only be putting around 12 fpe usually. More than enough for what I need, and QUIET.

Yep, a Rainstorm II in .22 cal

Thanks

What is that, an Evanix Rainstorm? Looks sweeeeeet!! :8:
