Lasers, red vs green?
I’m thinking about installing a laser. From what I understand, green is more visible during daylight hours. I plan on zeroing it at 25 yards as my scope is dialed in at 50 and closer distance shots require holdover to compensate for the height of the scope when mounted on the Air Force platform rifles.
I’m looking at a Barska GLX due to its small size and the fact that it can be activated by momentary switches on either side of the unit without the use of a coil cord and pressure pad. I will mount it directly in front of my fore grip on the LOWER dovetail with a UTG adapter. This way, I could activate either of the switches while shouldering the gun.
Two questions;
1. Green vs red for both day AND night shooting at short range?
2. Does anyone have any experience with this Barska unit?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Wildfire

sorry was trying to send below message on my phone…. or rather above. i have the micron lazer they have discontinued in orange, was a limited edition run. its a design pattern lazer and was meant to be used with those patterns lenses.
i have had a frozen on order in purple but the frozen is a pre order lazer. the purple is UV emitting and can be used for a lot of things and used with a diffuser lense can bu used with my UV camera settings.
my next purchase will most likely be a crypton. puts out enough heat to start fires in a pinch but that why my first purchaese from them was the torch light because its a EDC tool i HAD TO HAVE, im sure you know how that goes.
lazers are just cool to be honest. if your gonna own one why not own the best?
