Q:

Left handed BP??

Still a NOOB at this PCP air gun stuff, but I’m hooked… got a CondorSS and am having fun with it… got all the tweaks from TT… on my 3rd scope already… got the hi-speed camera/mount like Ted… made a few fantastic videos of turtles meeting their water-loo…

Next for me is a Bull Pup, I think. Thinking on a .25 or .30 cal. Trouble is I’m a lefty. Does anyone make a true left handed BP? If not, those leftys out there, is there any brand (due to difficulty/comfort for Leftys) to try or probably more importantly to stay away from?

Great site and I’ve already learned a ton from this site.

Thx,

edguns are sure shooters for sure. never held one myself but have seen nothing but high praise about them from everybody that has owned, shot, held one

Clearly you have never met our town drunk “Mr Machine gun” or our Kawaiti cowboy Mr”SniperQT” .

There is no problems shipping Edguns as they are shipped from Estonia not Russia.

Exactly, Wingey – my Geographically challenged friend from far away – land ! What the hell happened to those Clowns ? SniperGay was banned – several times under several Pseudonymes – but he always bounced back under a new alias , much like a bad case of Syphilis. I have to give him little credit for his persistence though.
The raving madman MG has been quiet for a long time. Maybe he´s doing time for beating up a schoolgirl or something of a sort …

Croatian…? ohhhh your all fuckedup…must be from being on a upside-down continent :8:

Thanks Reaper… I’ve never even held one off these bullpups, so I have no idea how I’d mount one. Heck, 90+% of the shots I’ve fired with my Condor SS have been with the high speed camera, so left or right wouldn’t matter… I imagine I’ll likely shoot a bull pup even more with the camera…

I spoke to Tony, EdGun’s rep about a lefty version of the Matador as their site makes mention of them being available. I might go that route and just wait until I can get one shipped to me.

no problem. though if you are here stateside you may be waiting a while if you order a edgun. with everything going on out in that part of the world it may become hard to ship out of that region to anywhere. not saying he doesnt have other sources but as hoot questioned a few days ago, he hasnt heard anything about rifles and buisness in the states lately and this may likely be because of issues shipping the rifles out. and i am un familliar with us distributors of edguns if they have any in stock currently

Hey thanks for the replies! Any lefty’s shooting right hand guns have any advice on which ones are easiest to adapt to shooting?
When I started looking at the PCP guns, I almost bought a Marauder because the bolt can be switch to the right or left. Then I discovered the AF style guns that are pretty much ambidextrous.

After watching Ted’s videos, I really would like to make a Bobcat work.

I’ll also probably wind up with one of those FX Revolutions too for a semi-autos…

Thanks again for the feedback!

ive spoken to a few people that shoot lefty that own crickets and have no issues with them or the sidelever interfering with the cheek weld. cycling the lever is another story but somebody said they way they have theirs set up the side lever cycles under his chin so there is no interference with cocking while remaining sighted to the scope

there is also the option of a marauder pup conversion. bolt action is probably universally the best bet for a lefty unfortunately because the market for most rifles in general either air or otherwise caters to rightys. the lefty market is growing now thanks to more leftys wanting lefty guns but is still scarce.

mrod also features a lefty conversion for the p12 and possibly the m10 in the future so thats another option but as far as left handed out of the box i think the marauder is the only one that can cater to you

That L/H action in that facebook link is not made by Kalibrgun, it is made by LT Guns in Argentina, it is an option for their “Pro Hunter” which is essentially a Cricket clone.
They posted loads of pics of it here a year or so ago.. go searching in the “Other Bullpups” topic for LT guns or Pro hunter and you will find info on that L/H action.
Not sure it will fit on a cricket but I wouldn’t put it past them..

Kalibrgun UK shows lefty actions on their FB page but I don’t know caliber or availability. https://www.facebook.com/KalibrGunUK

You might have luck pinging them or WWAG directly. I think there are other southpaws here that would like to know as well. Good luck!
