Q:

Black Mamba vs cast iron frying pan

I was able to recover a Black Mamba slug today (by shear luck) after it had a “run in” with a cast iron frying pan (home made gong target)!
This was a 75 yard shot with top hat, (Tonys) ,wide open and pw #8.
What I found to be impressive was the way the slug flattened on impact. judging by the way it folded up on itself, I think it is very safe to say that “these babies” fly straight even out of a moderatly powered gun at a fairly good distance without tumbling.

I like ’em so much,I even made a custom little slug holder for my gun so I can always have a few close at hand while hunting. Never know when Mr. Wiley Coyote will show his ugly face.
Keep up the good work Jerry!

Who would’ve thought those things would fly? :winkn:

That’s pretty cool. Jerrys slugs are da bomb. SHooting at skillets is pretty fun too. Some of those cast iron skillets are pretty brittle too I found out. With enough power they break pretty good
