Just got an R3M, it’s a thing!
I just got an R3M .25 long. After 100 or so rounds it’s shooting quite well. With JSB Kings it’s making 950 fps with a standard deviation of 2.5 (wow). Groups at 50 yards look pretty good. Can’t wait to see what it’ll do at 100 yards. If I’m reading everyone else’s results correctly, 950 fps will end up being a little too fast for the JSB Kings…
The Magnetospeed bayonet style chronograph works well although it had to be mounted off to the side of the barrel.
So far, it’s a great gun. Thanks Ed, thanks Tony.

My R3M .25 long is set for about 915-920, which is super accurate at the ranges typically needed (30-70 yds). This place is a jungle; the only 100 yd open space here is on the highway 😛
Your increase in speed could be due to parts loosening up/less friction, or your barrel may be building up some lead. The latter will be obvious, as your groups will suffer.
Congrats on the ‘pup!
