Another project down
Well, I finally got my stock back from the dipper. Just a quick spare-parts build. I needed something to putz about the yard with, so I wasn’t looking for too much power. I also wanted air not CO2. Here we are:
Build Sheet: (*I only had to buy 5 things, and those I didn’t really have to buy)
2250 Maintube
2260 trigger group w/*upgraded trigger (and the two screw mod)
*2250 HiPac
2300 velocity adjuster
14″ Crosman .22 barrel
Crosman Steel Breech
Disco stock, modified
*G-mac extended flow through bolt
Crooked Barn bolt handle
Frankenvalve (Disco rear half and guts, w/a 22xx front half)
*Mac-1 Gen2 muzzle brake
*Stock Hydro dipped (I just wanted to see how it would turn out)
It’s pretty handy and really really light. I’ll be testing it this weekend. Already did a leak-down test, and no leaks! I’m pretty happy with it. It’ll hold me over until I get the Mrod done, Of course there’s still the Dawson .30 build, the Rapid Elan clone, the .30 Condor SS, the custom .22 Talon, the “Ultra” .30 (That’s a talon w/a 12″ .30 barrel), the Prod90, and lets not forget the “someday” rifle, the .257 using that chinese extrusion. Too many projects? Naaaaahhhh

I’m not sure! I don’t have a stock bolt to compare it to! But, I did gain a few fps w/an old disco build I did a while back… Honestly, I just ordered the bolt because I’ve had one in the past, and they were ready to ship. Everyone else had to either make them at the time of order, or were weeks behind in parts. I was just rushing to get the carbine done- rats and other pests fucking up my mom’s garden. Plus all the rats at a local barn… ugh. I felt bad for those horses! 😈
