Would like to be more A-F Educated Please…
…and have just a few questions:
(ALL QUESTIONS IN REFERENCE TO AIR POWERED A-F AIRGUNS, NOT CO2)
1. The Talon is basically just a shorter version of the Condor, right?
2. The Escape is basically the Talon, but with a smaller bottle? Is that bottle too a Spin-loc? How many less shots because of the smaller bottle size?
3. For long range accuracy, the Talon and Talon SS with 18″ barrels would be the most desirable I’m guessing?
4. The TalonP does not look much different to me than the other Talons, other than the barrel length maybe? I see it is called a “Pistol”, what makes it a “Pistol” version and the other 12″ models not labeled a “Pistol” version?
5. So, having a regulated A-F model airgun is not a standard feature? I had read recently a poster complaining of no recent innovation from A-F and/or that A-F was even having a problem getting the regulated version “right”?
6. Would you rather have a regulated A-F model airgun or un-regulated and why please?
That’s about all for now.
I like the Air-Force line of Airguns…a lot! As far as I know, they are the only company that sells airguns that are American Made…in volume! That to me is pretty cool in itself.
I had thought that I would never like to spend more than $395.00 on an airgun that did not come standard with a repeater option, but learned at a recent Fun-Shoot Event, that having a repeater is nice, but not a must have, especially for hunting or some Friendly Target Shooting Matches. Just feel mostly that for that kind of money, you should have a repeater option on a PCP type airgun, especially with all the other competition out there. All of the above is stated in a most humble manner by the way.

O.k., studied the A-F web-site some more and educated myself.
It appears that I am correct in most of what I was already thinking. Basically, all the same airguns, but with different barrel lengths and various bottle/tank sizes…and some valve differences.
Now, would like to learn more about this “stock twist” issue with A-F airguns?
