Q:

Random grouping

Hi guys,

I am experiencing random grouping with my Cricket. Sometimes a group on 50 meters distance is really tight – 1/2″ and sometimes it is about 2″.
I think that I have the same position during shooting and the conditions are pretty same.
I wonder if the silencer can be the cause. Can it have negative influence sometimes and sometimes not?

I have also one more question regarding barrel seasoning. I know that it takes about 10-20 shots with the same pellet to season the barrel. How about the same pellets: JSB Diabolo (5.5, 5.51, 5.52) and JSB Heavy. Do they require the same procedure? I mean I shoot JSB Diabolo 5.5 and then I switch to JSB Heavy. Does it require barrel seasoning as well?

If you switch to a different weight JSB pellet, you’ll have a different point of impact than the previous pellets you were shooting, but you won’t have to “reseason” the barrel as long as its the same lead formulation. The different JSBs should group just fine, but likely in a different spot than the previous ammo.

Mine did the same, cause inmy case this:
